Ngerende Island Lodge:

Postby DavidSheldrick » Wed Apr 17, 2013 10:02 pm

Hello Community,

The Ngerende Island Lodge is situated on an oxbow bend in the Mara River, which it shares with two large pods of hippos, about four hours' drive from Nairobi. This exquisitely off-the-beaten path lodge within the Olchoro Conservancy sits at 5,300 feet above sea level and has its own airstrip, making it accessible year-round, even during rainy season. The 14 luxurious and private guest suites include mahogany flooring, outdoor baths and showers. Each suite has a terrace for viewing the passing wildlife. A honeymoon suite has a private plunge pool and Jacuzzi. The lodge offers game drives twice a day, bush walks, bird watching and several other activities.

Thanks and Regards,
David Sheldrick
