I always thought pike poles were those things Johnney Canuck used when moving logs through the rapids...and had a pointy end to stick in the log....and damn...did they ever in the first few years on the job. Other than Quebec, of which I am not knowledgeable, I would suggest that as long as you has IFSAC or ProBoard Accreditation you should be fine. It would not be a bad idea, to have a strong medical component in your resume. It would not hurt for a minimum of a Medical First Responder (MFR) or a Advan...
