Anyone have an idea how many classes they plan on having during this recruitment period?

Re: Ottawa 2018

Anyone know what the pass mark is? Does everyone who pass get a screening interview?

Re: Hamilton 2017 (NEW)

Just curious. Are resumes being considered as well in determining who goes on to 2nd round interviews?

I have one scheduled as well. I would also like to ask a question. If someone can pm that would be great!

Re: Windsor 2017

Just curious. How many rounds of interviews are there? Is it just a Chiefs interview or is there one prior to that as well?

What are the chances that they could go as low as 75% at some point? Have they ever gone that low before? Goodluck to everyone moving on.

Congrats to all moving forward. As far as their selection criteria for interviews, does anyone have any idea if test scores are part of the mix along with resumes or is the test a pass/fail and selection is solely based off of resumes??

Here's the article in the windsor star.

http://blogs.windsorstar.com/2013/10/25 ... wage-hike/

They reduced their 48 hour work week to a 42 hour work week. Because of this they will potentially need to hire approx 30 new recruits to make up that gap.

about a week ago, a city employee told me that Windsor was gonna hire about 18 more firefighters. Didn't mention when or why, just to keep a heads up. I wouldn't be surprised if they are sending out emails. Don't know how accurate the number is, but something is going on.
