DZ On Actual Fire Truck

Just to add to Godspeed's post. Modern Training in Hamilton came highly recommended as a fire truck training provider by a number of fire departments when I was doing research for my Ontario DZ Licence. They provide training on actual fire trucks with active firefighters as mentors in the jump seat....

DZ School

I was a student at Modern Training in Hamilton and can only say the training was well above my expectations. I have taken many training programs in the past and can honestly say the instructors and courses were top notch and well worth the time and money. The DZ program had lots of hands on time wit...

The air brake program at modern will give you a certificate so you do not have to do any Z tests at the MTO. D Licence

I would have to agree with the fact that if you try to wing the MTO road test you might get your wings clipped. I have had my DZ for a short time now and the stories i have heard on the cheap and easy way to get a DZ by renting a UHaul have backfired on a few of the dudes in my class. They flunked o...

DZ training

As a recent graduate of Modern Training in Hamilton, i can first hand testify about the awesome DZ licence training program. The training, equipment and the fact that you are being trained by active firefighters with years of defensive driving background on emergency vehicles makes the program worth...

DZ Licence

I recently obtained my DFZ Licence through a Fire Rescue training school in Hamilton Ontario. The owner and instructors are active firefighters and were amazing in providing hands on emergency vehicle defensive driver training. The fire trucks used for the training were fully loaded with all equipme...
