The Capucin monkeys may well learn that throwing stuff at the person that feeds them might just make the person stop feeding them...maybe cucumbers ain't so bad, after all?
...or the person feeding the monkey will realize that they need the monkey just as much as ...
Ottawa Citizen (newspaper) said that the City is asking Ottawa Fire to reduce by 14 jobs in order to acommodate the latest round of pay increases. I can see a situation emerge where public resentment against tax increases drives politicians to support contracting parts of ...

Couple of things here. First, this is an article by the New York Post, a tabloid style newspaper (much like the Sun) that is known for exaggerating stories and using emotion to sell newspapers. Second, one of the first things I learnt on the job was "never fight a fire you weren't at". Nobody here k...
Well said Fire 777, no arguing with that. :)
Well, I'll argue with it! I think it is more probable that they would lose a stack of resumes than to comb through each resume to that extent and with that level of attention to detail. I don't know Toronto's hr depart...

The problem here is that Timmy guy is just starting shit and y'all are letting him get to you. I don't care if he's union/volly/ems/roofer/child, the posts are just nonsense. Don't feed the trolls. Hope things get better for our Winnipeg brothers and sisters. However, the Jets and the Blue Bombers b...
