EMR is a recognized level of pre-hospital care with the Paramedic Association of Canada. EFR does not have the same distinction.

In short, one would assume that EMR is more than sufficient.

The PLAR process shouldn't take too long, but it all depends on where you did your schooling and if the school is on the list of approved educational facilities.

I mean, I put Hamilton as a priority as it’s where I want to work. I am already a Career firefighter, just want to be in a different department.

I hope you’re right, I stopped applying to others when I got the email for the MMI and haven’t applied to anywhere else in anticipation of getting an offer.

Haven’t heard a thing. Does Hamilton typically send out rejection notices? This is my first time applying to Hamilton so I’m not really familiar with the process.
