Ha ! CTV left out two of the best parts...

The pilot was rescued by an "evacuated" resident, when the police tub finally arrived at the site they threatened to arrest this good samaritan, without who's help the pilots family would be mourning... CTV's chartered boat from another area ran aground on a well known (for locals) sand bar strandin...

[quote=""Profire""]Wow, I had a little bit of empathy building up there for those BC paramedics, the Bubba came along and pissed it all away. Don't blame us because your union has not been as successful as ours and your wages and benefits are inferior. I'm thinking if most of you think the way Bubba...

I'm glad to see someone (the union ?) is trying to be on the ball. This effort is a day late and a dollar short though. Hey Dubya, I've been doing "HOT" work for years in a glass factory. We use only 100% cotton there. As cool as it is to watch yourself spontaneously combust when wearing any amount of poly blend there, I wouldn't expect this would be an issue when using your turnouts and full PPE. The worst I've note...

[quote=""Workingfire""] Having a piece of fire apparatus unavailable to respond because one person on it is working on the sick and injured just isn't right. Currently, we go in, provide a service and make ourselves available ASAP. I have a feeling the ambulance service medics would be more likely t...

Hey Hotwheels
This is a great place to get your questions answered. Firstly, use the search function, trying different keywords to see what threads are on the go already. You'll probably find multiple threads on any given subject.
Happy Hunting and good luck in your quest.

So its not like the army, where if I take you out back and mop the floor with you, then I get your rank ?. That really puts a chink in my ascension plans for becoming an officer...
