A dream they were talking about over 10 years ago when I left EMS. Still hasn't come to fruition eh? The first biggest step EMS needs to do is get rid of CUPE!

My mistake, it would be the Ontario Association of Fire Chiefs, not firefighters....lol Must have posted that prior to my obligatory coffee :o Just Google OAFC and it will come up.

The Ontario Association of Firefighters often has postings for FPO's around the Province. Also the OMFPOA will sometimes have postings. Other than that, just continuously check the websites for whatever Municipality they may be interested in.

Any designated key holder should be trained to deal with the alarm system, to reset etc. If alarm is still in trouble or will not reset for some reason, your Dept should have some type of sign off form which spells out their (the owners) obligatgions (fire watch etc) until the system has been repair...
