Bronto Skylift update?

Postby Callbox » Thu May 22, 2014 10:33 am

Not sure exactly which of your threads describes the final verdict regarding that Montreal Fire Department's Bronto Skylift 739 which collapsed back in 2004.

Presumably, it was either sent back to the manufacturer, repaired, traded in, or scrapped.

As I have not seen any snorkels in Montreal for many years, I assume that have been phased out and replaced with the latest, standard extendable-ladder vehicles instead.

On another issue: someone at the Montreal Firefighters Museum once told me that they could provide a roster/equipment list of all the Montreal fire apparatus vehicles in use by every station from the beginning.

For historical research purposes, does anyone know where I could obtain such a roster?

Thank you.
