Beer Can Chicken

Discuss the latest prepared disaster by the chief (oops... or was that 'the chef'?). Success stories welcome as well...

the best thing i saw was to get a hypodermic(obviously a clean one, unless you want some awkward seasoning) and actually inject the beer into the meat!!!

Ohhh god that is such great chicken!
I've never tried it injecting the beer into it...but something worth trying for sure! What's there to lose?

I inject with clarified butter, then rub with a bit of oil on skin then rub with a mix of seasoned salt, sugar, paprika and garlic powder. Can cover skin with a bacon grid instead of oil. Delicious
