Anyone using Active911?

Just wondering if anyone has taken the leap and started using the app?

There are other threads on here also promoting dispatch services via e-mail, text meggaging etc. One of the BIG problems is that sometimes the messages take hours to get through, even when all systems appear to be working normally. Add to that a possible/probable increase in the use of cell phones (and data) by the general public during an emergency, then the problem gets compounded.

Wow, that seems awesome. Map, GPS directions, details on incident, etc. Too bad for this...

Yes...so far so good. We're using windows based computers running Intergraph Mobile software before and switched to the iPad running Active911. Call data is there when you get in the vehicle.
