Meaning, It's just a rumor? or, that it's a rumor that is being heard in several places thus adding weight to its validity?

I actually heard the exact opposite. That there was in fact a planned, large hire for january

I have heard the opposite, as of today there is still plans for a class in the New Year which does not mean January but if I were a betting man ....

Likely a smaller class than usual. Simply due to lack of retirements

I know a few people going in january, so I'd too bet on a january class, but smaller.

As of now, Toronto is in a surplus of 35 people

Does anyone have any info on step 3 in the recruitment process. It seems like a new step (the tests and or presentations that candidates must pass before moving on to an interview)
