Email states - "All candidates that are moving forward will be receiving this invite at the same time and the interview slots are available on a 1st-come, 1st-served basis"

2014 they did 2 phases I believe of hiring and interviews so don't give up just yet if you didn't get one I would say.

Can anyone who was involved in the last hiring shed some light on how many get invited to first vs second interviews?

Anyone who received initial invites willing to disclose their credentials? Just curious if there was a theme for the first round. Like Toronto only wanted NFPA first round and non-Nfpa can apply in the fall kind of thing. Congrats by the way to those who got email, I wish you all the best!

Congrats to all moving forward. As far as their selection criteria for interviews, does anyone have any idea if test scores are part of the mix along with resumes or is the test a pass/fail and selection is solely based off of resumes??

The selection was based on a combine score of application profile and test score. There is no minimum cut off for the test. Someone with a 70% test score could get selected over someone with a 90% test score

Just received my thanks but no thanks. This recruitment was a joke! I think I only got two wrong on that exam. First off they don't even tell you what your mark is. I have so much experience including working in the emergency room as an emergency room technician. I'm a orthopaedic technologist, volunteer firefighter, worked at an airport as a airport firefighter, the list goes on. For $236 should be able to tell you why you were not selected. I really don't know what they were looking for. This is very disappointing!
