If you read the job posting... does it state a practical portion??? If not... there isn't one...

Got my e-mail not too long ago, no mention of a practical but the chief there during my test day said that they were thinking of adding a practical to the hiring process. It's a list they're holding onto for 2 years so a lot can happen/change etc. and if they decide to play that card, well, all the more reason to keep those skills sharp

Just curious how they would conduct a practical skills assessment considering you didn't need fire experience to apply. Should be interesting if they do.

I'm wondering why they are sending out emails on the Saturday of the long weekend? Did anyone else receive an email?
