Ottawa Fire Services is opening their hiring campaign for 2019/2020 on May 14 to June 15. Good luck to all!

The OFS website still shows the old 2016 recruitment at the moment and probably will for the next 2 weeks.

I wonder if Ottawa will followthe timeline they usually do in their process. The first interview of this recruitment wont likely happen until January/ February 2019... aka forever...lol

Few changes this year. Interesting how they are doing the testing/payment and choose your date. Lets hope this hiring process gets deeper than the last recruitment. Good luck everyone!

Is it me, or did the fee go up considerably?

Any updates or ideas on how many people wrote? When are the results coming out?

HR sent an email out last Friday. Over 1500 wrote, 2-3 weeks for results. Screening interviews January 7th-25th.

Anyone know what the pass mark is? Does everyone who pass get a screening interview?

A pass is usually above 70%. I think if you pass you get an interview, but not sure 100% sure on that.

The passing mark for the CPS test is 70% and 3/4 for the OSFF test. I believe everyone that passes both is invited for the screening interview.
