I was wondering if anyone has any insight on the next recruitment? I know the current recruit class just started back up after a 2 week break, and are being told they might be fast-tracked and graduate a little early. Does anyone know if they’re still hoping to get a class started in July/August, and if so, what that recruitment will look like (or timelines) with OFAI down? Thanks for any info!

Good to hear that the current class is back in business.

As for the July/august class I’ve heard from a good source that the class is 60% full.. they would have to open a new recruitment to fill the rest of the seats.
OR they might pick from the 2019 list again.

I doubt they’ll reopen a recruitment since there’s no way of renewing certificates. Hopefully they don’t do that and pick from previous recruitment those who got document requests. That’s best case scenario for those who got the requests.

That’s a tough call. It’s been a year since they opened and a lot of people have gotten certified that we’re not previously certified when they were open. Hoping to see them open again as I figure they have exhausted the other list.

Opinion:
With everything going on I would predict a class even just 60% full is what the next class will be but possibly later than originally planned.
Again - just an opinion.

Really don't see a new recruitment opening for some time now.

Stay safe

Just that they are issuing refunds to those that had testing/retest booked in April /May
