Firehouse Training is running a Strategies Against Terrorism Course for the Fire and Emergency Services on Saturday, May 15th from 9am to 1pm. This training curriculum is in accordance with NFPA 1072 Standard for Hazardous Materials and Weapons of Mass Destruction Emergency Response Professional Qualifications.
This course is designed for current career emergency services staff, as well as job-seeking applicants. We will have multiple subject matter experts from the the fire services and law enforcement in the areas of Hazardous Materials, CBRNE & Bomb Squad Response.

Terrorism in Canada and Interagency Response Procedures for Fire, Police, Medics
Terrorism Awareness Techniques specific to the Fire Services
Introduction to Chemical, Biological, Radioactive, Nuclear and Explosives: CBRNE Response
Introduction to Weapons of Mass Destruction & Threats
ERG Guide Review and Simulated table-top responses for CBRNE and WMD Incidents
Introduction to Incident Management and safety perimeters for Terrorism, WMD, CBRNE,
Bomb Threats and Active Shooter situations
