Emalb

Postby Easton87 » Sat Feb 03, 2018 8:53 pm

Question for any B.C. firefighters out there, currently work in Ontario and was looking at some of the requirements there, Vancouver for example requires you to have your Emalb, I am wondering if this is something that can be done online or if my qualifications here would be able to help with that or is this something that must be completed in person.
Thanks in advance!

To get your First Responder licensing with the EMALB you just need to submit a copy of a completed Red Cross First Responder certificate and take a written exam that has to do with the laws and regulations in the Emergency Care Act. Alternatively, you can do a first Responder course in the Vancouver area and receive both certificates upon completion, as you write both exams at the end of the course.
