Ranking of busiest firetrucks
I would have a hard time thinking any station in Canada is busier than Station 1 or Station 4 in Winnipeg. The two squads in 1 Station do more than 5500 runs a year. Plus the two Engines and Ladder are around there as well. Would be cool to see the actual numbers collected
Is that 5500 per apparatus or combined numbers of both apparatus?

Just to give you an idea, station 332 in Toronto runs about 14900 calls a year, for just 4 trucks I included. The Pump, Highrise, Heavy Haz, and the DC.
e: of course this number fluctuates a few hundred calls, so between 15 and 16,000 calls for the 3 trucks and the DC
Unofficial stats:
Engine 2: 3100
Rescue 2: 4600
Don't have the stats for their volunteer trucks but have to be close to 8000 calls a year
Either their truck call volumes are wildly uneven, or this can't be true. The whole dept runs about 32,000 calls, spread across a TOTAL (including sup vehicles) of 38 units, 13 of which are front run apparatus. (correct me if that stats have drastically changed over the course of a year)
Now like you listed, the rescue, if we include rescues and rescue engines, thats a total of 18 trucks. For two trucks to run 7700 out of the 32,000 in total, means that the remaining 16 trucks, between them only ran an average of 1500 calls each, not differentiating between any volly or full time stations... That seems a bit farfetched to me, just saying.
e: however, its entirely possible

Spent a few years in the madness!

That is per apparatus. The Squads at 1 station pull 5000-6000 runs a year each. Plus the two Engines each get around 5000 a year. The Ladder gets around 3500 - 4000 a year
I wouldn't doubt that 1 Station does a minimum of 20,000 calls a year counting all the aparatus.
When I was at six station. Our Rescue and Engine did 4500 runs each between the two trucks

That's pretty damn good, I'd imagine station one sounds like quite the sought after spot, with all that action!
