Mississauga 2019
Re: Mississauga 2019
Out of curiosity, for those who did get an interview, do you guys have your NFPA 1031 or 1035? That was a question on the questionnaire with the application. Just kind of curious as to what they're looking for. I've applied twice and haven't been selected for an interview both times. Any info would be helpful

No I have neither. I have rope rescue confined space and swift water all awareness. I'm an electrician with high voltage experience and I'm in a DZ truck over 10,000 kms a year not sure what they are looking for to be honest. Iv applied to other places and never got a call.FireFit24 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2019 5:17 pmOut of curiosity, for those who did get an interview, do you guys have your NFPA 1031 or 1035? Mississauga is doing what many other municipalities are or will be doing, and that is surveying applicants or newly hired recruits to see how many candidates are taking the 1031 and 1035.FireFit24 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2019 5:17 pmOut of curiosity, for those who did get an interview, do you guys have your NFPA 1031 or 1035? This assists the department in deciding if they will offer those courses as part of recruit training or a shortened version to refresh skills.

Re: Mississauga 2019
My guess would be 140 to 160
There was 16 timeslots to choose from so it all depends on how many interview groups there were
