Did anyone else not get a confirmation email after applying?

Do they really need pro board seals?

There were a few obvious and subtle misleading bits in their posting so I must ask.

Cheers!

I was wondering the same thing. IFSAC Seals are not accepted?

Well, they wrote that we have to “download” a copy of our resume instead of upload.

They said that a police vulnerable sector check was a minimum requirement, and that all minimum requirements must be submitted with application. I’m curious as to how many people learned that that isn’t possible without a letter from the employer as they were turned away by their local police detachment.

So this I take with a grain of salt. Hopefully they’re reasonable on this one.

No problem, but unless you have one for some reason all ready; and I can only speak for OPP. They won’t issue you one without a specific request from the employer. I called Vaughan hr about 3 weeks ago to ask for a letter requesting vulnerable sector screening or at least some clarity on the matter. They told me that it doesn’t need to be submitted until you get a job offer, which is when they send out a letter. Contrary to what they said in the posting. This is why I raised my question about pro board. Just don’t want ya potentially driving 30 k to your nearest police detachment for a VSS, only to get denied.

Also as it was for mississauga is you email hr and the send you an email of request. Mississauga had it as a minimum requirement as well.
